Nutzarella™ - Fresh Italian Mozzarella style
Our Nutzarella is a fresh, soft, semi-elastic textured meltable cashew cheese. This is the only product that, like its milk counterpart, is slow heated to a point where it can be stretched and formed into various shapes ("pasta filata" ). This gives the snowy white fresh Nutzarella a mild yet slightly sour taste. The texture is soft, moist and somewhat granular. It is brined for up to two weeks and sold in tamper-evident container.
Nutzarella goes well in antipasti dishes, with salads, pastas, calzones, vegetables and various side dishes. It is also common in popular Italian dishes like lasagne and baked casserole. When used in cooking, heated mozzarella becomes slightly creamy. Nutzarella pairs with Beaujolais, Sauvignon Blanc and White.
Weight: approximately 170gr but because it's all made by hand, please be advise that every Nutzarella may slightly vary in weight.
Shelf life: 2 weeks in the refrigerator, 3 months in the freezer.
Ingredients: Organic raw cashew nuts, organic tapioca flour, organic coconut oil, organic sunflower seeds oil, carrageenan K (red seaweed) cultures, enzymes, filtered water, sea salt.
